Creative County Review

Write for us

We welcome pitches that reveal a specific, overlooked detail in county-based creative life. Send proposals through the Contact page, with Write for Us selected as the reason for writing.

What we are looking for

Pitch stories about makers, creative places, collections, craft and gatherings. Strong proposals have a clear subject and a fresh angle: a particular material choice, an arrangement that changes how a space works, or a useful way to understand an object or practice. We welcome informed, readable ideas rather than broad claims about creativity.

What to include

Tell us the proposed focus, why it suits Creative County Review and what readers will understand or notice by the end. Mention the kinds of sources or access the piece would rely on, and disclose any personal or commercial connection to the subject. A concise pitch is more useful than a finished draft sent without context.

Before sending

We do not promise publication or a response by a particular date. Please send original proposals and let us know if the idea is under consideration elsewhere. Do not include confidential information or material you do not have permission to share.

Our point of view

Creativity has a local grain

A place is more than a backdrop. Materials, rooms, habits and shared histories all leave their mark on creative work.
